Our Activities
Drill and Ceremonial
Discipline is at the core of what we do. Parades and ceremonial drill help build teamwork and leadership. Learn to conduct parade drill and eventually be in command of a squad, flight and squadron.
First Aid
Become proficient in the fundamental skill of first aid. Learn to treat basic injuries and medical conditions and manage the scene of an incident.
Firearms Training
Learn the seven basic firearms safety rules and how to handle a firearm safely. Then, test your skills through supervised .22cal target shooting, earn skill badges and represent your unit in area and national competitions.
Sports and PT
Physical training and sports help strengthen our teamwork and keep us in shape. Compete with other NZCF units in competitions and represent your unit.
Leadership
Develop the skills necessary to lead yourself, teams and eventually leaders themselves as you progress through the ranks. Learn briefing techniques, command and control, and risk management, to become New Zealand’s successful leaders of tomorrow.
Community Service
Give back to the community through fundraising events and volunteer work. Help those in need and become a contributing member of our society.
